Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Using Ultipro across the organization for payroll, HR, performance, recruitment, onboarding and learning, time management. It one system which is a positive when it comes to reporting.
  • It is one system of record.
  • Payroll for the most part is quite easy to process.
  • The compensation management piece is not usable and needs some work. Especially when it comes to end of year bonus distribution and how it is limited on how it calculates bonus amounts.
  • Performance reviews should email the supervisor when the review is kicked off to the employee for the self-review. There are glitches that have been said to be fixed and are not, as it relates to launching a review and the date it looks at.
  • Recruitment should have offer letter templates and a way to email offer letter templates through the system for e-signature to be uploaded into CORE documents tab. Should be able to post jobs to Facebook, not just LinkedIn and Twitter. Need a job aggregate that is included in the pricing not separate contract.
  • Should be able to attach forms to processes.
  • It would be nice to be able to create fillable forms in Onboarding.
  • workflows can be clunky.
  • Time savings
  • Consolidating HR administration under a single solution
  • Other
[Other outcomes we hope to acheive include:] Better reporting, more efficiencies, the big picture view, better tracking.....Some have been achieved.
I think Ultipro overall is a better product. I do think as a stand-alone some of the other vendors do a better job.
Smaller companies with not a lot of HR resources may not do well using the system and the BI reporting.

UltiPro Training

I would recommend that everyone go through as much of the Learning Center training as possible.
  • Online training
  • Self-taught
There are a lot of webinars to review, as well as other learning center content. The search feature makes things easy to find.

Using UltiPro

640 - HR, Payroll, recruitment, learning, reporting, performance management. Ultipro is our system of record.
10 - I have an HR team of 10 but, there is no single person dedicated to support ultipro. Each HR person makes sure their job within Ultipro is functioning properly.
  • payroll
  • system of record
  • newhire /onboarding
  • report bursts and alerts
  • community broadcast
  • artificial Intelligence
More than likely, if the system is meeting our needs, we will renew. I don't want to go through another conversion anytime soon.

Using UltiPro

There are things that are not user friendly. Time Management UTM is not user friendly. The LMS is really a 3rd party and not well integrated.
