1 - While one person is point person in making sure nightly backups are set, the entire department gets alerts/reports on failures and successes.
1 - One person manages the consistency/regularity of the backup while everyone else gets daily reports.

It is a must have. Ransomeware is no longer keeping up at night knowing I can fully restore within minutes/hours.

We are a smaller shop (only 8TB) so we have not needed to scale yet but the explanation made it sound simple.

They are not pushy and do not try to sell you based on a current promotion that will expire at the end of the sales call.
While not necessarily needed, support is an email or phone call away. I hope to get the same response time in the event of a real disaster recovery.
Instead of purchasing an out of the box appliance, we built our own server array and purchased the software only.
