Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

We utilize it to deploy printers to our VDI Non-Persistent Desktop environment. Easy to deploy to individual terminals or terminal groups.

Pros

  • Easy to maintain and deploy drivers.
  • Ease of use to get around the web interface.
  • Deploys printers efficiently and effectively.

Cons

  • Uses SNMP for communication.
  • The ability to see individual user usage on each printer.
  • Deployment to specific terminals.
  • Allows users to be self serving to install printers if they need them.
  • Fewer calls due to point #1
Easy to maneuver and to access the things you are looking for.
Having to not maintain a print server is super handy and less maintenance is required.

This is perfect for a virtual environment where desktops arent persistent and printers need reinstalled on a regular basis. Simplifies automatic deployments
