Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Veeam Backup & Replication in our server room for replication to another site for backup and key technical personnel uses it to back up their office computers.

Return on Investment

When we installed Veeam Backup & Replication on desktops, we were not sure how often those machines were actually being backed up.
With snapshots we feel comfortable that our data is protected.

Needs Assesment

Security that things are being backed regularly and effectively. Veeam Backup & Replication is a reliable, dependable product that we plan to keep.

We have had Veeam Backup & Replication for several years, even before cloud backups was the norm. Using Veeam to backup to an offsite server room gave our network specialists security to be able to sleep at night without constant worry before we moved some of our services to the cloud. Same with backing up and protecting desktops before cloud storage became the norm.

NAS Backup

We have used Veeam Backup & Replication for desktop backups to ensure key personnel was protecting their work files prior to cloud storage and for sensitive data they individually dealt with. This kept us from worrying about damaged hard drives and losing data.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have Veeam Backup & Replication setup for desktop computer backup and for some of our critical servers in a separate location outside of our server room building. We have used Veeam Backup & Replication for multiple years and we have set it up, checked it, and works well for us. So it's very easy for us to use and maintain. We don't use it district-wide because of the cost expense.

The ease of using it is well worth keeping it. It has been advantagious to us and helped us out of various situations.
