Veeam Backup & Replication

Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication

Our company have all our backup and replication through it. From VMs to files to computer backups. We also have replication setup to our 2nd location. We need real scenario DR testing.

Support from Veeam Backup & Replication could improve a little. There are no check on company's usage.

Veeam backup and replication is only protecting our virtual environment. We have other securities to protect our physical space.
  • Comfort of knowing our environment is backed up
  • Knowing that replication is taking place to our 2nd location
  • Files are backed up
  • Application servers are backed up
Veeam has always been my go-to backup solution. I have used this so long that other solution seems antiquated. Cost for Veeam has seem to be the best suited for my company.
In my 13 years of using Veeam, I still have not found cloud backup has been feasible. The cost of cloud backup and replication has not been high on a cost perspective.
We are currently have a 3rd back up of our VMs and file to a NAS. It just gives us a better comfort level that our environment is backed up.
A couple of years back, I had to restore a table within an instance of a database. I was able to do it with the SurBackup. It was very convenient and nice to do.
