Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam Backup & Replication as part of our 3-2-1 backup plan. The ability to have an automated application backup our business's data essentially to any cloud provider or NAS has helped decrease our workload tremendously. Backing up any data, in general, can be a nightmare in the world of IT as you have to double, triple, and quadruple-check sometimes when you're moving files to and from hard drives. Yes, you can back up with Robocopy, but trust me it is not nearly as easy as Veeam Backup & Replication. With Robocopy, you need to set up parameters, check your CPU threads, as well as monitor transfers (like a hawk) for any hiccups/freezes. In Veeam Backup & Replication, you're basically done with a few clicks and it's set on a schedule.

- Veeam Backup & Replication also does a great job at backing up our file servers remotely.
- It would be great if Veeam Backup & Replication could automate the creation of "Veeam users" for Office365

2 cloud, 2 virtual, and 2 physical workloads. This was more than what we had anticipated as we were not planning on backing up whole servers, but we were fortunate that Veeam Backup & Replication had the foresight to have these features implemented.

A file server had tombstoned which desynced the files, unfortunately. There were many sleepless nights lost due to the tombstoned DFS server. It was brought to our attention that we needed a better backup solution instead of just relying on a mirror. With Veeam Backup & Replication we now have multiple ways to back up and easily restore any of our data within minutes.
We use AWS and Backblaze as backup repositories for our cloud solutions. Veeam Backup & Replication provides us the redundancy and ease of access that we found to suit our business the best. We have not yet needed to access our cold storage from either of these cloud providers, but our recovery tests give us confidence that our data is safe and secure.
We absolutely love the efficiency and ease of use Veeam Backup & Replication provides in backing up our NAS. We have been able to recover files that have been deleted accidentally days after the incident.
