We use it for backups and replication of new clusters - daily backups, tape backups, and backups of remote sites.

150 or so VMs - about what we expected.
- It has reassured us that we have a reliable software for managing backups
- Veeam is super easy to use so it is not stressful
- Has had us back up and running very quickly when a VM died
We used Symantec Backup Exec which was very out of date and tape driven. Veeam was an excellent replacement and we could actually backup EVERTHING instead of just a select few critical VMs.
We aren't using them yet but we hope to in the future.
We do backup our file shares and the restore process is excellent.
