Did Veeam Data Platform live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Veeam Data Platform go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Veeam Data Platform again?

Yes

I have 32 virtual machines. Scenario hasn't changed much in 7 years. It only includes about 6 servers in that time.
  • We suffered a ramsonware attack and lost everything. Veeam Data Platform Foundation was not able to recover anything.
  • This weighed on the decision to acquire the Veeam Data Platform Foundation update. Because at the time the software was sold as immune to ramsonware.
Veeam Data Platform Foundation meets all my needs. An excellent backup system. I don't feel like switching to another.
No. We still use version 10. Because we suffered a ransomware attack and lost the entire veeam backup. The board declined to invest in cloud updates. That's why we use NAS that shut down after backup to simulate the cloud. I hope to change that logic soon.
Veeam Data Platform Foundation does his part. So we're satisfied with the results. We always have the backup and restore of files whenever we need them.
It applies to any scenario of my organization's performance.
