Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite
Vembu is used by some of our clients mainly for long retention backup purposes. Some also use it to back up and replicate VMware VM.
- Reliable - few problems.
- Good and quick support.
- Easy to setup.
- Too few administrative features vs Storegrid.
- Requires too many support requests for simple tasks like storage move.
- No real impact in terms of ROI but has impact on data protection strategy.
Price, support, easy to use.
It used on both virtual and physical.
Never used a product similar to Vembu. Our clients also use VEEAM for VMware backups especially on tape.
