Overall Satisfaction with Vembu BDR Suite
It was used to make a backup plan of our main hardware server.
- Simple interface.
- Multiple types of scenarios: VMs, Windows and Linux.
- Problems with incremental backups.
- Inconsistency in the information in different parts of the software.
- Very good price.
- As incremental backups don't work well I discarded the software.
I used the free version for 6 months, support stopped answering as backups didn't work right. Sales were not interested in working things out, just sale.
Sadly it didn't work like I wanted on my physical server with virtual machines.
I will try Veeam again, it is more expensive but may be worth it.
