Vertex Indirect Tax O Series

Overall Satisfaction with Vertex

Right now we are using Vertex O Series to input and monitor all of our customers' Exemption Certificates. We are gradually pulling all divisions of our company into SAP and Vertex O. This software has made it easier to address tax exemption issues as well as being able to provide a copy of exempt certificates for auditors.
  • Integrates exempt certificates into our system which helps A/R prepare invoices properly and prevents short pays.
  • The only thing I can see is uploading can be made easier.
  • We are still in the process of converting to SAP and vertex O so I can not officially answer this question but I already see positive impacts from the Sales and Use side.

Product usability was impressed upon us by SAP users.
We've used Vertex Q, L, and O
Its configurability is limited by the persons inputting the data. That is the only limitation I see. Human error.
Today at the Vertex Exchange. I have been able to identify ways we can upload information to avoid human error.

If a company has more than 100 regular customers or 100,000.00 dollars in sales they should consider the benefits of looking at Vertex O.

20 - Each division and company associated with my organization uses Vertex in some way, shape or form to update the tax rates or format there data for upload into Vertex.
7 - We have IT personnel, accountants and Indirect tax analysts who utilizes Vertex on a daily basis and it is also integrated into our SAP software.

We feel that Vertex is the number one Indirect tax software company. Very supportive and constantly updating and reviewing their capabilities.
They have a great sales and support team that stays with you throughout your tenure with them. Very easy to communicate with and always there when you have a question or recommendation.
