It is used by one of our divisions. Vertex O series is used on-demand. It addresses our Dental equipment software products department.
Pros
- It calculates Sales and use taxes correctly, and integrates with our ERP system correctly.
- MS Great Plains interfaces with the Vertex Web-services to calculate taxes.
- It interfaces to our Vertex Returns product with no user input. It's fully automated from Transaction history to Returns.
- It's an easy to use product.
- Provides exellent user and Tax reports

- Quicker customer support response per on-demand customer.
- Easier geo-code assignments.
- It allow only one employee to manage to complete company Tax decisions

Loyalty and product well built to handle sales and use taxes for over 20 years.
- Vertex O Series
No other product is comparable and can handle the number of transactions per day. Over 100,000.
- Able to received the Tax import file in Excel from Vertex O then import into VIR.
- Allow to change Tax jurisdiction and sales and Use tax customer for customer without IT input.
Last month we called support. They informed us immediately that Vertex O OnDemand doesn't allow flexible month-end date ranges, but they will consider it in future SR.
