Overall Satisfaction with Vertical Response

  • Use Vertical Response for tracking response rates on department surveys.
  • Graphics and charting for comparative data are great.
  • Email is easy to use - link to surveys.
  • Hard to see which survey was the most recent - in reports they come up in random order.
  • This program got me major brownie points with my bosses! Able to gather information much more efficiently and report clearly.
  • Able to link with college software to automate surveys - HUGE timesaver (and paper, no more mailing of surveys).
We have used Vertical Response for years and wouldn't change it.
VR is very easy to use. Our marketing department uses it for many many purposes. Vendors send us updates on how to best use emails and send reminders when specials are coming up. For me personally, I use the program for one specific thing - and for that purpose it works amazingly well.

Using Vertical Response

12 - Marketing deparment uses to let students know about specials - Student services uses it to survey graduates - career center uses it to survey alumni.

I use this product to create mailing lists, create emails asking students to fill out surveys, and to track the results - I love love love this product.
2 - We have a few main contacts to support vertical response - haven't had too many technical issues that can't be worked out with staff. Staff is quick to reply to questions, to work with us step by step to find solutions. They follow up periodically and are very helpful! It's an easy to use program.
