Overall Satisfaction with Vista by Viewpoint
Vista is used across our company. Our accounting department uses it for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Our compliance department works with our projects on purchase orders and subcontracts. Our project teams use Vista to track production and cost projections. It is fairly easy to work with for our office employees but our field employees find it a bit of a pain to work with. We are currently looking at outsourcing an app/ software for production tracking in the field.
We do love how customizable it is using user defined fields and customizing reports, however this may need to be done with an outside consultant.

- Custom fields and buttons are extremely useful
- Almost everything can be easily corrected if any errors are made in entry
- Response time of VP support
- Vista by VP Help can be much more detailed
- System can sometime be glitchy
- AP Approvals helps ensure we are paying valid invoices
- JC Cost projections help plan for the future
- Production tracking helps compare budget v actual cost
