Overall Satisfaction with Vonage Business Cloud
My organization has replaced physical phone consoles for most employees and instead utilizes softphones from our computers. This allows us to accept and make calls as long as we have a built-in or external microphone, and there is also an app that lets us use our personal devices to check phone calls and make calls from our business numbers. Overall, it has been more cost-effective, considering many developers and other staff are not front-facing and sometimes never use a phone at all, yet are still accessible.
- Eliminates physical phone consoles that can be pricey and unnecessary for staff.
- Has a companion app that allows you to use your personal cell phone to check messages or make calls.
- The desktop application is easy to use and has a number of customizable settings so that the app can be minimized but alert you of incoming calls.
- I don't really have any criticism for this product. For the specific use case, we use it for softphones and it is highly effective and easy to use.
- Noticeable reduction in costs.
- Less workstation hassle and clutter reduction for non-front-facing employees.
- Improves the ability to use work extension while on the road.
I am unsure who our previous phone service provider was, but there were occasional downtime and common issues with our hardware. Switching to a cloud solution for phones has been an all-around positive switch over traditional phone systems. Compared to Amazon Chime or CenturyLink, I find it Vonage Business Cloud more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
