Overall Satisfaction with VWO

We wanted to quickly deploy A/B tests and run multivariate tests as well. We were previously relying on full deploy cycles and modifying the underlying front-end code for each test. It really consumed our front-end development resources and debugging live was a pain. Google Optimize didn't cut it because of SSR issues.
  • Editing A/B tests in the front end with a GUI.
  • Running multivariate tests.
  • Showing the significance of results using a Bayesian model.
  • User management.
  • Credits usage between teams. There is no way of allocating the credits between teams.
  • A/B testing.
  • Multivariate testing.
  • Descriptive analysis on user usage.
  • Simplicity of showing results to the team.
  • We really had a positive ROI based on the incremental revenue. It was a no-brainer investment.
  • Culturally, the team became more data-driven.
  • Bad: The team sometimes runs useless tests with negligible results without an underlying hypothesis because of the simplicity of running them.
Vs. Google optimize VWO is much better:
* Setting up a test, the GUI is much better.
* Performance (loading times) is better, improving conversion rates.
* Results were much more complete and detailed with the VWO insights add-on.

Yes

Did implementation of VWO go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy VWO again?

Yes

It was really useful to improve our test deployment. What wasn't that good in my opinion was the rendering times after running the tests. That is because the tests weren't run in the backend but in the front thus effecting loading times. The two options were either blocking the whole page rendering on having a blink.
