Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

It is used across the whole company. At the moment nearly 100 users are registered. We need it to secure our remote access, this means our client VPN solution and the Citrix Gateway.

Pros

  • Easy to install.
  • Cloud based.
  • There are continuous improvements.

Cons

  • Sometimes push notifications aren't delivered.
  • Sometimes the app installation needs a phone restart.
  • A log viewer would be nice.
  • New projects for MFA solutions.
  • Cross selling opportunities.
  • Securing Citrix installations.
The benefit is that we do not need hardware and we can offer full cloud-based solutions to our customers. More and more SMB companies would like to have a full cloud scenario, and with AuthPoint we can secure this installation.
The app is easy to use and stable. On a small number of mobile phones, we had to cold restart the device to use the app. But in all cases the support from WatchGuard was superb.
The support team is always very helpful, short reaction time and the experience is high.

We recommend AuthPoint for all situations where a company needs an MFA solution. We have different installations, with and without WatchGuard firewalls. Mostly used for mobile VPN and Citrix gateway.
