Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We use it internally to protect our whole organisation. We also use it to enhance the security posture of our clients. It allows us to safely access and provide access to VPN’s. Clients like it because they feel safer knowing that even if a password is conpromised they are still safe
  • Easy to set up.
  • User friendly.
  • Reasonably intuitive.
  • Cost effective.
  • Very good for smaller businesses.
  • Not very clear when a user mistypes their password.
  • Error codes not user friendly.
  • Increased sales.
  • Reduced breaches.
  • Improved perception from clients.
It is better suited for smaller/medium sized businesses which is a large number that we support.

We also like the push notification instead of having to read through lots of codes.
Being an MSP we are able to manage a large number of tenancies very quickly. If the product relied on on-prem we would have to spend a lot more time making changes. This means that we can easily access a large amount of client data in one place. The MSSP model allows us to also scale it very effectively.
For the most part. Yes. There is some complications a large amount of users- especially at the start.

Because we mandate it for a lot of our clients it’s hard to say the ease of use has encouraged compliance but we do know that the easy of use reduces customer burnout which is great.
We have a large number of clients who are above the age of 50 and we find that only needing to use one password makes them less nervous around technology.

It’s not well suited for clients who are not security concerned as it adds another barrier to entry.
