Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
I use the authpoint solution to access workstations, access VPN services, and access some internal web applications. The solution is very user-friendly to deploy and use. All the configuration is done in the Cloud portal. I have about 50 users, and all these users need the authpoint solution to authenticate to use Windows Logon, VPN access by RADIUS and we have integrated some web portals with SAML to authenticate with authpoint. In the last year, the solution gained several security components, the authpoint risk framework allows to specify network location to allow or block access in some networks with or without MFA, Geolocation to allow or block access from countries, and time to allow access without MFA in specific hours.

The implementation process it's must easy. The management and the cloud platform it's more intuitive. And Swivel needs a physical appliance in the data center location, it's more one hardware to manage. The only positive functionality it's the user-friendly tokenless Swivel solution, the user doesn't need to have a token.
It is quite comfortable for any technician who is anywhere to be able to access the cloud management console and carry out their tasks in a simple and practical way. The fact that no hardware is required is a fantastic advantage as it is less physical equipment that has to be maintained.
During the process of assigning a token to a user, an email is automatically sent via Watchguard Cloud with all the necessary steps on how to install the mobile application and how to activate the token. It's quite intuitive and easy and the users can validate the token without support.
The SSO process is not itself the best tool. The SSO authentication process only works after authenticating to the watchguard portal does not use windows authentication.

Using WatchGuard AuthPoint
50 - The roles of the 50 users are varied, we have first line and second line support users, we have IT consultants, commercial area.Basically all our users have to log in with Authpoint, so the various areas of the company use this tool. They can't access workstations without having it.
2 - The solution is very very easy to manage, currently in our company we have two employees certified in Watchguard MFA Authpoint and these two users are responsible for managing the application, new implementations or features and at the level of end-user support.

Evaluating WatchGuard AuthPoint and Competitors
Yes - In the past we used to use the SwivelSecure solution, in the Appliance solution. The Authpoint solution has the great advantage of being cloud-based, which means we don't have to maintain the equipment and its maintenance. It also adds the added value of simplicity in its management, and the multi-cliente solution.

Yes, the functionalities of the product are very interesting and there is a very important factor, over the years of experience with this platform we have constantly received new features, the solution is not stopped in time. In the last few months there have been several new features released for the security framework.
I see no need to change the evaluation process for such a solution. MFA solutions are something I was already familiar with because we have used this technology in the past. The selection process was following the most valid ones in relation to the solution we had before. We are happy with this solution.
