Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our meeting room software is directly integrated with Webex App, and we
use it to meet internally as well as with other users worldwide. I have
tested with Webex App in the past and have always been impressed with the
number of features and ease of use with the application. With a few
simple clicks, you have access to every important feature, including
video/audio calls, viewing your team, accessing your calendar, and more.

Pros and Cons

The ability and features included in sending messages is done very well
Easily integrating your calendar is a very nice feature
The ability to schedule or join meetings makes it very sleek
I like how easy it is to see the recent changes to Webex directly from the app

While I like the interface, I feel like it is too similar to MS Teams
The icons for screen share, audio, and video don't seem to match the rest of the interface
Help icons per screen would be nice to allow for easy traversing to the support pages

Return on Investment

People really enjoy Webex App as it contains very high levels of security compared to other applications
It is very easy to join a meeting without an account
Less tech-savvy people can still use and understand Webex App very quickly

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, now part of Microsoft Teams and Zoom

While all of these apps are powerful and have great features, I believe that Webex App is the most feature-rich while still having great security features. I did use Skype for Business for many years, and while it contained 1/10 of the features, the simplicity and ease of use are still very hard to top, in my opinion.

Support Rating

I feel like the integration between Webex App, and other applications is at an all-time high, with more companies than ever supporting the product. It is great to see that Webex App coming out on top of the world of conference room providers, and I hope that continues to happen. The FAQ pages are also done with extreme proficiency, meaning that even the newest users can easily follow the provided guides and get started using Webex App quickly.

Usability

While the features found in Webex App are extremely powerful and effective, I still believe that a light version should be available to use. This version should only allow for the simplest of tasks involving joining a call or instant messaging someone. This would be highly effective for teams working remotely or working while traveling as this "light" version would be great for a laptop.

The Webex App is very well suited for impromptu meetings as the application is very lightweight and supports many popular features. While this is a positive, it can also be a negative as the interface can be quite daunting for first-time or new Webex App users. I have used Webex App for a while and still find myself getting lost in some of the screens. A light version for this application would be great.
