Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings
WebEx is currently used by the sales and accounts team to facilitate smaller group discussions, sales meetings, and account meetings. It connects people virtually and allows for presentation sharing. In the past, we have used it for marketing events, but I find the system to be a bit behind for larger-group presentations/interactions.
- The presentation sharing is fairly straightforward, which is helpful when presenting product/account information.
- WebEx is a widely used platform, so there is a lot of information about troubleshooting readily available.
- The pricing is very straightforward.
- Call quality can be fairly reliable.
- The record presentation options are not the best and can be a tad confusing depending on how you want to store the recording.
- Meetings with lots of people can get frustrating and loose quality.
- Their features are not the best as an example, attendees may need to download software, which can add challenges and take away from valuable meeting times.
- It saves us time and money traveling to prospective and current client sites, which can sometimes be located in hard to reach areas of the country.
- It connects our entire team for important team meetings. When people travel or as the company grows across more cities, WebEx allows us to stay connected.
- It allows us to train team members through the recording feature. If we do a team training or presentation, we can record it and share with new team members.
We actually use a variety of the offerings. We have a few Join.me accounts because sometimes that is easier for calling/screen sharing meetings. We opted against UberConference because although it was the most cost-effective, we found calls were being dropped regularly. For marketing purposes, we use ON24 for webinars, as their features are the most comprehensive.
Webex Meetings Feature Ratings
Cisco Webex Experience
There are certainly great features that Webex has; however, we use multiple products and the licensing and permissions for various accounts can make leveraging these innovations difficult. For example, when we want to use the transcription feature, we sometimes run into permission issues and then the transcription doesn't come through, which can be frustrating.
The other tools would be their webinar platform to perform external communication/education sessions.
Overall Webex offers a secure platform, which is critical to our business.
Using Cisco Webex Meetings
50 - Both marketing webinars and meetings with prospects/customers
Technical trouble shooting, understanding of Cisco Webex features
- External Educational Webinars
- Large Internal Meetings
- External Meetings with Customers or Prospects
Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
The single most important factor was the ability for the system to be secure and usable by participants
As we have moved remotely, I'd want to ensure there are strong collaboration tools/features as a part of the system.
