Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We use it across the organization and also work on projects for WebEx to on-prem integration for customers are well as WebEx to 3rd party integrations such as Teams or O365, the product has always been solid, but the UI could be more intuitive as I've seen many users who use WebEx for the first time getting confused with how to use it effectively or even get lost at the basic functionality such as joining an audio bridge.
  • Reliability
  • Screen sharing and remote desktop control.
  • Audio quality.
  • Less intuitive.
  • Needs other vendor SBC support for direct routing.
  • Uses ML and AI effectively like other platforms.
  • Customer satisfaction.
  • More project opportunities.
  • Lack of direct routing opportunities with Sonus SBC
Easier screen sharing and remote desktop control compared to Teams, but Teams is user friendly and is integrated with the exchange environment seamlessly without the need of tools like Webex productivity tools. But with WebEx, we can build hybrid solutions and leverage the IM&P functionality of the cloud.

No

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

WebEx has always been consistent and I haven't so far faced serious outages and interruptions causing dropped meetings or problems, dissatisfaction related to audio quality issues, video quality issues, problems related to screen sharing, or whiteboard usage. Also, having used WebEx for a long time, there is a level of comfort while using the app.
With the APIs and inbuilt app, integration scalability is good, automation and such is also easier with REST API. We are able to build with tools, but it would have been nice, however, SBC integration other than Cisco SBC's could be supported for direct routing and calling functionality with on-prem solutions.
I haven't face web browser loading issues and problems related to cache deletion that you have to deal with other videoconferencing solutions. Also, the ease of use of the app is also good though it is not the best from an end-user perspective. Regular updates with fixes are also good.
It is well suited for business meetings or for troubleshooting or remote implementation projects. It becomes harder to use when the participants are non technical people who are not well used to the layout or of how WebEx expects you to use it and you have to walk them through.
