Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Across the whole organization. We use it for customer presentations, meetings with business partners and suppliers, and departmental meetings.

Pros

  • Integrate with Cisco telepresence devices.
  • Integrate with Outlook for meeting invites.
  • High quality video and audio.
  • Lots of screen sharing options.
  • Lots of layout options on desktop.

Cons

  • Loads slowly compared to other video apps.
  • Interface is less engaging than Teams.
  • Raising hands is not a well executed feature.
  • Device selection does not seem to be retained one meeting to the next.
  • Employees are able to get many more meetings in a day without drive time.

Webex Meetings really shines with organizations that want to have meetings that include conference room units as well as individual users with their devices. Joining from conference room devices is really easy. For desk-to-desk collaboration, there are other tools that load faster and provide some simple integration features that are extremely useful, such as a Join button right on an item on an Outlook calendar, clickable without opening the item. Also the automatic pop when another user has started a meeting.
