Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is the single most used app/platform in our company. Our daily briefing meetings can be easily scheduled in Outlook and the Webex Meeting does the magic. We can simply invite other participants in scheduled meetings or just start ad hoc meeting when needed. Recording the meetings is also a great functionality for the content you want to share or simply get back at later.

Pros

  • Meetings can be easily scheduled from the web and in Outlook.
  • Meeting recording in cloud and on premises.
  • Background noise reduction.
  • Music mode.

Cons

  • Requesting control for shared content/screen could be easier.
  • I find it very easy and convenient to start an ad-hoc meeting with a customer to offer support and use the whiteboard and screen share functions.
  • Meeting recordings in cloud and on premise is a nice tool if you want to review the meeting.
  • File transfer is also a great option to transfer files in a secure way if you don't use third party file sharing service or application.
Cisco Webex Meetings has the upper hand when background noise removal comes in question. Also, in meeting controls and views are easily cusomizable. Webex Meetings integrations with different apps only adds value to the current rich sets of functions.

Cisco Webex Meetings has a great option to check the health of the service before meeting. Also on https://status.webex.com/ you can see incident history of the Webex Meetings service. All upgrades on the service are announced in the site administration and in a release calendar so you can plan you activities accordingly.
Whether you are a small team or a large organization, Cisco Webex Meetings can fulfill your needs. Easily expand the usage by adding multiple users and assign them to different teams.
My personal experience is to use a fresh browser, cleared of cookies and cached data before performing any complex operation on the web. Since all cloud services are dependent on the Internet providers, Webex Meetings are not immune on the outage or service degradation. Having a good internet connection can make you life easier. Also Cisco has a great set of information on how to improve the usability with some great tips.
Cisco Webex Meetings has a great function set for daily activities. In-meeting options like background noise removal can be a life saver. Also, Cisco is constantly developing and improving its Webex Meetings services and integrations. Cisco Webex Meetings has a great standards based interoperability with the closest competitors and will continue to improve it in future for seamless integration.
