Use Cases and Deployment Scope

When Covid made working from home compulsory i looked around for a communications product I could use. I needed a secure, consistent and reliable product that I could use to communicate with my colleagues. I started with Zoom but that got hacked. I then shifted to Webex Meetings. Webex Meetings met all of those criteria.

Pros and Cons

Allows feedback from meeting attendees. Eg clap, thumbs up
Allows sharing of documents, screen share.
Has a whiteboard you can share with

I really cannot think of anything at present.
Perhaps a selection of elevator music while you wait for meeting to start.

Return on Investment

I cannot say, but it has certainly been a safe secure and reliable platform

Alternatives Considered

Class for Zoom

I initially tried Zoom but as I mentioned there were problems with Zoom This was with people hacking the sessions and posting inappropriate materials on our Zoom sessions back in 2020

Reliability and Availability

It is always available when I require. I can send out invites and just spin up a session whenever I need to.

Scalability

I haven't used this feature of Webex Meetings so I cannot give an accurate rating

Performance

The Webex Meetings pages load quickly enough for my purposes. I dont integrate Webex Meetings with any other software, so I cannot comment on how fast or slow it may be when integrated with other components.

Likelihood to Recommend

I found it worked well on my Home computer where I purchased a larger screen especially for working from home. It also works on my mobile phone if Im not at my desk. The controls are a bit harder to find perhaps there could be a mobile phone version of Webex Meetings.
