Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We are currently using Webexpenses across all departments, allowing all members of our organization to submit expenses.
Our finance department are also using the software to review and amend expenses, as well as update expenses policies.

This has allowed us to ensure expenses are submitted consistently by different users, as well as being able to better enforce and communicate specific expenses policies.
  • It allows us to show expense policies in a clear way, showing which policies are relevant to the type of expenses being claimed.
  • We have been able to save time entering expenses onto our accounting software by linking it directly to Webexpenses. This has reduced the manual workload for our finance team.
  • It has allowed scans of receipts to be easily saved and stored in one place without the need for manual collecting and organising of files.
  • Some users have not found the software instinctively easy to use, meaning that some training has been needed internally.
  • The key benefit for our company has been productivity increased from the finance team spending less time on repetitive tasks related to expenses.
  • Efficiency has also improved across the whole company, as less time is spend submitting expenses by each user.
The usability is fine for users once they have had some time to get used to the software.
However, we have found that new users often struggle to instinctively work out how to use the software, for example struggling to find where the buttons are to do certain functions. I have found I've had to explain how to submit expenses to users on various occasions.
The customer support is fantastic.
The team are extremely responsive. I have used their support several times and have always got an answer very quickly.
They also allow you to call them or submit queries via a webchat. I have found that both methods have been very effective for resolving any tasks that I'm struggling with.
Before Webexpenses, we were completing expenses via excel, which was much more time consuming.
Users have found that the app has been useful for quickly submitting expenses as they happen rather than having them stack up and need to be sorted manually.
Approval has been easier as they are all in one place, rather that being picked out of emails.
We have also saved time by linking Webexpenses to our accounting software, which has removed the need for the accounts team to manually enter values.
Automation was very important for our company, as we were spending a lot of time with manual entry.
We also had a need for better enforcing specific policies, as well as making sure that expenses were being set to the correct code/ department.
Webexpenses software has assisted us positively with meeting all of these needs.
Webexpenses is well suited for any companies that feel that their current expenses system is taking up a large amount of time, with manual work being needed each time expenses are submitted.
It would be less useful for very small companies that have a small volume of expenses to process.
