Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We use Webexpenses to record all of our personal and company credit spend; company car mileage - company miles and personal miles for those with a fuel card. we also use it for those EEs who do not have a company car, but travel on behalf of the business.
This system is used for the UK and Republic Ireland so solves having 2 separate systems both region.

Webexpenses is linked to our company card and pulls through the transactions daily; so aids in automation of expenses; and saves time in re-writing out claims.

The mobile app is great for snapping pictures of receipts and then when you process the expense it will automatically suggest the correct receipt; so you do not spend hours at the scanner.

It is a very intuitive application. You just follow your nose! Or the application pre-populates the dates, amounts, category, VAT...You just have to check the values and attach the invoice.
It is very simple.
The PC and the mobile app are both easy to use and I use both-when I am on the road the app- for snapping the receipts. The PC application is used when I come to submit my expenses at the end of the month to my manager.
The Webexpenses team are very helpful every time I have had to use them - not often at all as I have had very little issues.
Webexpenses was chosen to move away from paper and aid our aim of becoming a paperless office.
It reduces physical storage of claims and receipts; and paper trails of approvals and or rejection - it allows for full audit to see who has approved and when or rejected and why.
Claim submissions never get lost; and nor do the approvals and or rejections - feedback is given directly to the EEs.
Important requirements were that the system could handle both UK and Republic of Ireland mileage from a company and personal perspective when using company cars.

Having a mobile application was super important as the team are on the go, so it made sense for them to do their expenses over WIFI at train stations or airports.
Being able to build reports that can be easily shared was also a must; because being able to have meaningful information to make economic decisions is very important.

Webexpenses is very suited to our dynamic business where travel and purchasing takes place a lot. The app is great and you never forget to upload a receipt as Webexpenses lets you know.
It is suited for personal mileage as well as company mileage as there is a map and or you put your postcode in, and it will calculate the rates automatically for single and return journeys.
