Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Currently used across the organisation to manage expense submissions. Streamlines the process flow by allowing employees to upload expenses, admin managers to approve and finance teams to eventually pay out. Having a historic overview is helpful to understand previous spend. As a cross-boarder company, multiple currencies, types of invoices, etc. tend to be very well supported.
  • Historic overview of spend.
  • Allows for multiple field of information to substantiate claims.
  • Easy to upload receipts.
  • UI is a bit congested.
  • Some steps in claim submission flow could be reduced - fewer clicks.
  • Is there an APP based version?
  • Reduced time to manage claims
  • Ease of payouts
  • Centralized approach for whole company
User interface is okay - gets the job done, but could potentially be streamline to require less back and forth to submit a single claim. From the perspective of a user uploading a receipt for a claim: I like the fact that there are multiple fields to supply info relating to the claim, but uploading the actual receipt does require quite a bit of back and forth before the claim can be submitted.
Difficult for me to say as a user that only submits claims or approves certain claims. I have not had to reach out to support in the past which I would take as a good sign that the product functions well if it has been set up well for your institution.
The feature allows for individuals of a company to upload claims themselves and admin can set up various categories for claims. This keeps the flow well organised and gives you a good understanding of what the claim is for. The approval process is pretty simple and allows for the approver to approve with ease.
For the most part, it meets all requirements and is a very functional tool. It get's the job done so to speak. Visually and in terms of the process it could be a bit more streamlined, but the most important part is that it functions well in line with requirements.
I have used multiple in-house systems of which most were lacking as an all round solutions for expensing claims. Webexpenses has allowed for a lot more automation in the process. It is also more comprehensive in capturing all necessary information and I really like that categorization is possible with relative ease.

Do you think Webexpenses delivers good value for the price?

Working in a company of more that 1000 people this platform is especially helpful to manage expense claim submissions. As a user it allow good visibility - especially on historic claims etc. If you are looking for a quick method to upload claims, this is perhaps not the fastest and visually pleasing software.
