Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Used across organisation to manage expenses.
  • UI is very easy on the eyes.
  • Super fast with unobtrusive notifications.
  • Extremely detailed in information capture.
  • Quite confusing for new people, tutorials aren't in-site.
  • Until you're used to the system, can be unclear as to whether a claim has been submitted or not. Not very intuitive.
  • It has freed up time across management/HR.
Very capable and with a welcoming design but that capability has come at the cost of simplicity, processes can be unintuitive and options can be overwhelming for newcomers. Think a Salesforce for expenses, but prettier. Use cases/best fits are also pretty similar...
Have never had to use them so far other than the tutorials, the product works well at what it does.
Could be more on-page support for first-timers.
For end users there isn't a huge amount of time saved as the uploading and inputting can take a little while. For managers and HR the platform works well at what it does and approvals are simple to do.
Hugely broad capabilities, historically (pre-covid) we had a great many varied expense types and sources, in terms of data capture and attribution the tool is very powerful.

Do you think Webexpenses delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webexpenses's feature set?

Yes

Did Webexpenses live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webexpenses go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webexpenses again?

Yes

Best suited to organisations with varied or complex expense claims. E.G: Variable VAT/tax amounts, multiple expense departments/businesses, multiple currencies or very different claim types.

I would suggest Webexpenses might not be as well suited to smaller businesses or those with a larger workforce making regular, simple claims.
