Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We use Webexpenses across our organisation, it is much better than using a manual form and having to send receipts in every month. The functionality is good and the ability to take photos of receipts or add from your photo gallery is a real time saver. The app works wells and the online platform is really useful to look at your expense history. As ever it takes a couple of months to get used to it but if you are efficient then it can stop you from having a pile of receipts in your wallet at the end of each month.

Pros

  • It's just quicker.

Cons

  • The photos crop quite tightly on the app, would be useful to pinch-zoom to optimum size.
  • Warnings sometimes appear for no apparent reason but this may be down to how we have set up our preferences.
  • App can drop out now and again.
  • I suspect it has saved a lot of time as it is all now on a system.
  • We have also saved on postage.
  • It is just quicker to get things authorised and paid.
It is quite stable for an app based system, it has made the whole laborious process of doing expenses a lot more straightforward and much quicker. I have access to my past claims on my app, the desktop site is also very usable. Just the ability to photograph my receipts is so much better.
Claims submission is now a massively straightforward process, no need to waste more resources using envelopes, getting stamps, and going to the post box. My expenses are also approved now within hours.
I'm just a user but I think it has saved a lot of people time and would create quite a useful and easy audit trail.

I use it for my expenses and it works really well. I am trying to be more disciplined and need to get into the habit of adding items as I go along so that it reduces the time I spend at the end of the month and also stops me from missing expense items.
