Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
Used by the entire organization to manage travel and other expenses. It allows users to track their expenses easily as well as their managers and approvers to oversee and approve expenses efficiently.
Pros
- Easy to capture receipts.
- Convenient and easy to use mobile app.
- Responsive interface.
Cons
- Fetching fx rate when capturing a receipt takes a long time and is unnecessary in my case turning it into a nuisance.
- I was not yet able to directly save a receipt into a claim. I feel that the saving options when capturing a new receipts are misleading.
- I had receipt drafts that could not be saved (for no apparent reason) and ultimately had to be recaptured. It would be good to know why the draft are 'faulty.'
- Expenses are turned in quicker.
- Less 'missed' receipts that are added later as an additional claim.
- Easy approval process allows approvers to get a good overview and easily reject/approve as needed.
I personally have not been able to automate processes in my role and cannot speak for our accounting team. For me webexpenses allows me to feel more comfortable in my own submissions as the simple mobile app UI allows for a good overview as well as a quick and easy way to capture expenses.
I feel that Webexpenses provides a more easy interface. This leads to less time spent on capturing expenses and less error. In our Webexpenses setup there is less input than in the previous Concur setup. While this may limit some of the reporting capabilities it ensures that the data entered is more accurate then it may have been before. Capturing receipts is about the same. Creating, managing and submitting claims is easier in Webexpenses and the user interface is simpler and more user friendly in my opinion.
