Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

Pros

  • Allows for a high level of customization. This lets me make Workfront what I need it to be for my company.
  • Clean and easy to use interface. Obvious...
  • Highly customizable notification system and resource management tools. I can get all the notifications that I need, when I need them, where I need them.
  • Integrated proofing tool with automated review and approval workflows. Revolutionizes how we handle proofing and approvals.

Cons

  • Customer support could be stronger. Had an issue and the rep was very kind and respectful, but I ultimately had to find the solution to my problem myself. I think that this is getting better, however.
  • At this point, we're only 3 months in but I know that Workfront is going to help us to continue scaling as volume increases. Obviously, we'll be able to handle more work, which will, in turn increase our ROI.
I haven't really used the other systems. I have only researched them and compared them against each other. I chose Workfront because I felt like the UX/UI and the breadth of what Workfront offers far outweighed the opposition.
In the creative realm, it is extremely well-suited. I can't really speak to other departments or teams, but based on the level of customization, I have no doubt that Workfront would be MORE THAN sufficient. The ability to scale the system up as our company scales is one of the best things for our organization.
