Workfront is being used as a project management suite, aiding our project members to work in an agile way effectively. The tool my team and I use most frequently is the issue tracking, which is invaluable as a developer.
- Ease of use, nice layout, and good colours.
- Most features needed are out of the box, little need for an external solution for project management.
- Graphical representations can be automatically produced from data rather than manually configuring them.
- Other project management tools, though they may be limited, offer excellent solutions for free.
- Workfront benefits from large teams, rather than smaller more intimate teams.
- Not the easiest to pick up for brand new users compared to simpler competitors.
- Large return of investment on bigger projects with both functional and technical staff on board.
- No use case found for 2-5 man projects, as Trello is easier to use and free.
- Issue management has single-handedly removed days or weeks of communication mismanagement.
