Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We currently use Wrike as a way to manage our ongoing projects across the organization.
  • Daily email reminders
  • Easy to use & learn
  • Dashboard views are great for tracking
  • Affordable compared to other products
  • Minimum of 5 licenses must be purchased
  • Priced per user (there is a discount for higher volume)
  • Gantt Chart doen't export task list only barchart
  • Wrike allows us to stay on track to complete projects so we can continue to add business.
Wrike was easier to use and had features that we thought BQE Core had but did not such as the daily email notifications of assigned tasks

Using Wrike

1 - Wrike requires minimal support on an on-going basis. We have one person in house that makes sure the software is up to date on the computers and maintains our wrike account.
  • Scheduling
  • Project Status
  • Task Management
  • Time tracking if we ever decide to increase the plan we are currently using
We use wrike on a daily basis in-house and it has been great for project management.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

Yes - Wrike replaced BQE Core. Core is a powerful program that has many features that are similar to Wrike but key ones we thought were available in Core were not. One of the main features was daily email notifications of assigned tasks. We were looking for a project management software that we could assign tasks to individual users to make sure everyone knew what needed to be done. Wrike has this feature and others that go along with it, such as tagging someone, that allow users to be reminded instantaneously of assigned tasks as well as give them a daily email of what they should currently be working on.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
It was a combination of all of the selected factors that impacted the decision. We wanted a program that had the features we needed at an affordable price without a large learning curve.

Wrike Implementation

Wrike Training

Wrike does not need separate training though I believe it is offered

Configuring Wrike

The level of configurability depends on the plan chosen. We are on the Professional plan so we have the least amount of options.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
No - we have not done any custom code

Wrike Support

They've only had 1 server issue since we started and made sure to tackle it as quickly as possible. They have a read-only version of all accounts so while you can't update or add tasks you can still see what needs to get done which was handy during the server issue time.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Knowledgeable team
Problems get solved
Kept well informed
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support understands my problem
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
None
As far as we are aware there is no premium support option, all plans get the same support level.
We haven't had to put in an actual issue ticket yet because Wrike's online resources tend to have the answers we need. We do get emails from our account manager regularly to touch base on if we have any questions or concerns.

Using Wrike

Wrike is simple to use and has a lot of great resources for if you do get stuck.
ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn

Familiar
None
  • Switching between Task Views
  • Project Setup
  • Gantt Chart

Wrike Reliability

Based on our experience, Wrike is very scalable. Our only issue is that you have to by seats (licenses) in certain increments. For example, when we started using Wrike we only needed 3 seats but we could not purchase any less than 5 so we were paying for 2 extra seats that weren't being used. We still currently have an extra seat open.
We have only experienced one unplanned outage and it lasted a total of 2 minutes.
We have had no issues with performance

Integrating Wrike

  • Google Calendar
Integrating Google Calendar was easy, we only use it occasionally to add meeting/tasks to our company wide calendar
  • File import/export

Relationship with Wrike

They were friendly and answered questions quickly
We, thankfully, haven't run into an issues since purchasing Wrike but do get emails from our account manager touching base to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Upgrading Wrike

Yes - Upgrades are smooth, they give warning well in advance and have the option to download "read only" versions of your data if need be prior to the updates.
Yes - We started out with a free account as a trial period and quickly switched to a paid Professional account to implement the program across the company.
