Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Wrike is used across our organization for project management. It addresses communication gaps when using email and puts everything into one place which makes tracking of conversations way easier than before. Also Wrike allows us to get buy-in from other departments by simply "@" different people in a Wrike comment.
  • Sharing amongst team members
  • Overall visibility
  • Security
  • Not needing to use email!
  • Hard to navigate
  • Multiple levels makes it hard to understand
  • Finding things usually results in just doing a search
  • Moving tasks into new areas is cumbersome
  • Every task in one place
  • Sharing beyond Email
  • Sharing beyond Slack
  • Definitely has improved our internal communications
  • No longer a need to search for project info - it's all in one place - super helpful!
Trello is a simpler, more visual project management tool. More situated for smaller, less technically savvy teams.
Vs. Asana, Wrike it similar but has more customization options.
Vs. Teamwork.com, they are comparable although it's easier to see the big picture using Wrike - the list of folders and tasks makes it easier to see everything in one place.

Would you buy Wrike again?

For remote team project management, Wrike is a good system, but you need an internal champion to get your end-users over the hurdle of the initial adoption. We had one person on our team who had used it before and she helped us get it installed and deployed for our entire team. If you're in different offices, Wrike is ideal.

Using Wrike

There is definitely a learning curve to figure this system out and get up to speed. But overall it's relatively easy to use. If you've already got a workflow that includes Slack, then your team is used to "@" people and this makes it easier to transition over to a system like this.
