Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Wrike is used as a management tool for graphic design projects, including product labeling, catalog design, and other product related pieces that are created by a team of remote, internal, and contract designers, and proofed and approved by a remote distributed team of employees. It enables easy and transparent project management and helps with team collaboration.
  • Good customizability for waterfall-type project management
  • Good usability - easy for inexperienced users to pick up
  • Nice theming options for customizing to your brand
  • Because it is so customizable, it takes someone with project management expertise to set up the right workflow for your specific needs
  • A little difficult to create very intricate dependencies between tasks in a project
  • Customizable request forms
  • Ability to set permission levels for various user groups
  • Customizable workflows
  • Wrike cut my time spent project managing off of spreadsheets in half, increasing my productivity
  • Wrike streamlined our processes, enabling us to compete projects faster and save money spent on too much back and forth with our contractors
  • Increased productivity for dozens of our team members
Wrike is easier to use and has better usability than Asana and Jira. It's more flexible than Monday, Trello and Basecamp. It's slightly more complicated and requires more setup than Basecamp, which has less flexibility to customize but is probably more user friendly and simple to use. Overall, it's a great tool for remote teams collaborating on complicated waterfall and agile projects.

Wrike was a perfect tool for managing dozens of graphic design projects with separate timelines and a team of remote contributors. It enabled me to cut the time I was spending in project management in about half. The customizable project request forms are also a great way to ensure that clients are providing the necessary details when submitting requests.

Using Wrike

10 - Wrike is a central hub for a key aspect of the company's product design and development. Roles using it include operations, graphic design, marketing, product design, and all levels of management. In addition, it allows the internal team to seamlessly integrate and interact with external contractors and vendors who contribute to the core business.
Wrike is simple enough to implement and use that it really only requires one designated person to manage. Our team's implementation was set up in collaboration with IT and various department heads to ensure that it would have high adoption and meet the needs of everyone using it. Without much technical knowledge, one project manager can easily maintain processes within the application.
  • Manage collaboration between internal and external teams
  • Manage timelines for graphic design projects
  • Expediate review and approval processes
  • Create a central hub for product labeling and branded collateral
  • Project management was able to move from spreadsheets to a more effective solution
  • Increased efficiency and quality of designed products
  • Process improvement
  • Sales project management
  • Larger design cycle project management
  • Collaboration between international entities
After implementing Wrike, it was immediately clear that the business could not return to a "before" state. Efficiency and collaboration improved tenfold, and the time spent on project management was fractioned. It enabled us to improve processes throughout the entire company, from sales and marketing, to design, to operations, and enabled the seamless integration of outside contractors which allowed us to scale easily to meet demand.
