Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike in many different areas of our company. My area in particular has over 50 projects in process at one time; not to mention the additional task outside of those projects. I am responsible for implementing real-time hospital interfaces with all our hospital partners.
- Project Management
- Daily Task List
- Automation
- Past Due Calendar
- There are a few things that are a bit odd at first when learning the system. For example, when typing in the note field in a table view, you can't enter or ctrl-enter for the next line. However, if you go into the details, you can ctrl-enter.
- The Completed Date is automatic and doesn't allow you to manually change it. We created an Actually Completed custom field to assist with this issue.
- The automation bots come in at midnight and I haven't found a way to adjust this without adjusting my entire time zone. This is not a big issue but just a small improvement that's needed.
- Past Due Calendar
- Custom Reports
- Automation Bots
- Built in Analytics
- Blueprints
- Request Forms
- I took a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of 55 columns and 120 rows and converted it to Wrike. That was just the start. We moved at least 3 manual reports over to Wrike and use automation to create the reports.
- After moving our projects into Wrike, we've added 5 other departments. All the new departments are using Wrike for their own projects.
- The VP now has greater insight into all areas instead of receiving multiple manual status reports.
- With the request forms and blueprints, it is very little effort to enter a new project into Wrike!
We looked at multiple produce, specifically Microsoft Project and Clarizen Go. Wrike had the customization we needed along with the support staff and training to implement the product. The user interface is great with many views available, including custom views. The built-in analytics was key as well. After many other product demos, we chose Wrike.

Wrike Feature Ratings
Wrike Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal
- No Significant Issues! Just learning how to run reports and creating custom fields for those reports!
Using Wrike
38 - Our users are in multiple IT Department Areas, the Data Analytics Department, and the Compliance Department. All the departments use Wrike for their projects. Each area uses it uniquely to their area but at the end of the day, it is the project implementation software of choice for our company.
1 - In regards to supporting Wrike, I am the administrator as well as an avid user. I manage the users, assist with training as well as provide all the Wrike training and support. We also utilize the Wrike Community which is such a great tool when you are trying to determine how to do something; or have general questions about other Wrike tools.
- Removing a 55 column spreadsheet!
- Implementing multiple projects on time. Different tasks are not being dropped as they were in the past.
- Getting away from manually maintaining spreadsheets and reports allows us more time and project efficiency.
- Automation Bots! The simple one that we love ... mark a project completed and it automatically moves into our Archive folder.
- Automation Bots ... again! Mark the main task completed and it will ask if you want the subtask completed as well.
- Custom Fields ... life saver for us. This allowed us to create reports for the projects and not have to dive into each project separately.
- We are hoping to integrate Microsoft CRM with Wrike.
- We may add other departments as we find their needs can be met with Wrike!
Evaluating Wrike and Competitors
Yes - We didn't totally replace Microsoft Excel but Wrike replaced it as a project management tool. We eliminated the need for a 55-column spreadsheet that required daily updates. Wrike now gives us daily reminders, automated reports, past due calendars, etc.
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
Our single most important factor was definitely the product features. Wrike has a table view that gives you the Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet type of view which is visually pleasing. Wrike also has custom fields and reporting that were a must. This is partly why we choose Wrike!
What an easy question! We wouldn't have changed our evaluation and selection process. Wrike, hands down, was the best. The only thing I could say is to start the Wrike Demo first and save yourself time on the others. Wrike truly has everything we need.
Wrike Support
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Quick Resolution Good followup Knowledgeable team Problems get solved Kept well informed No escalation required Immediate help available Support understands my problem Support cares about my success Quick Initial Response | None |
Wrike support is part of our annual subscription. We did not purchase premium support because I'm a Wrike Ninja, which is part of their badge program. Another reason I love Wrike ... the badge program and community! There is no need for additional purchase of premium support from our standpoint.
I had reported one of the upgrades had changed my views on all the projects. Wrike was very responsive, assisted in correcting the issue, and even checked in later to ensure everything was still working as expected. The response was quick as well as the resolution. All in all, A+ for Wrike support.
