Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Xactly Incent is used as the main commission calculation and reporting tool throughout the organization.

It addresses:
  • Credits/Payout calculations.
  • Reporting: plan effectiveness and health check reports.
  • Reporting/Transparency to salespeople: Incent has robust Incentive statements that are very easy to configure and are apt to show very detailed yet readable credits/commission information to salespeople.
  • Easy to implement/administer: Xactly Incent has many inbuilt tailored functions specially designed to cater most of the incentive comp plans. An admin just needs to select the right function as per the IC plan and configuration is done hassle free.
  • UI: Perfect UI, easy to learn and train new users.
  • Server Issues: Unable to save rules, formulas etc...
  • Incent doesn't support uploading orders from multiple periods at once.
  • Complex logic: Complex IC plans are very hard to build into Incent.
  • It has helped to automate the commission calculation that in turn increased the confidence of sales force in the system. This helped in increasing selling time and reducing the non-selling time of sales reps.
  • Help Reduce the workload of admin teams and now they can focus on other work.
Xactly is easy to implement but more rigid.

IBM is more flexible but takes a lot of time implement.
Appropriate: Simple IC plans, where plans change more frequently.


Not Suited: Complex plans, where upstream data is not clean and significant processing is required.
