Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Xactly Incent is being used to integrate with Salesforce, calculate and payout commissions, sales plan approval workflow, commission inquiries, sales performance reporting, and commissions audit. Incent is being used to improve a high-touch process of pulling our sales bookings, sales comp plan approvals through emails, organize sales crediting hierarchy separate from our organizational hierarchy, provide reporting to downstream systems of NetSuite and Xactly CEA, and move away from Excel.

Xactly Insights and Benchmarking are being used to understand plan behaviors and compare against peers in the industry. It is being used both to understand how well the sales team collaborate, the impact of our sales enablement program against sales tenure, and the richness of our sales plans by our primary sales plan component.
Xactly platform services being used are Incent, CEA, Insights, Benchmarking, and Analytics.
When working it's great. Integration is low touch, low error rate, and provides an audit to know what was in our systems at a given time. As a fast-growing startup, constant changes to Sales plans requiring add'l SFDC information and changes to integration is painful as we need to work with Xactly Services which slows us down.
HR and Sales Ops is using Xactly Incent to understand commissions earnings, achievement, and payouts analysis. Finance uses Incent for accrual and budget and forecast modeling.
Incent came with a less complex proposition to solving our need to move away from a spreadsheet. It does the basic things right and with a fast-changing start-up, canned incentive statements, best practice sales positions that roll into their Insights and Benchmarking products provided a more easy-to-use system.

Xactly Incent requires to have a comp admin and comp analyst to administrate. Incent is flexible to handle any and all calculations and multiple data inputs. On integration using the Salesforce connector, there is a requirement to work with Xactly services for integration scripts. Error messages are not descriptive. Using the community portal and support ticketing should be used frequently.
