Overall Satisfaction with Xero

I use Xero to cash code, reconcile, and prepare financial statements for my clients. I have previously lost a client because Xero didn't have the capability to provide WIP inventory support. They didn't want to pay for yet another app to manage a small inventory/manufacturing process.

  • Reconciliations.
  • Custom Reports.
  • Client's customization.
  • Inventory for manufacturing process.
  • More report options.
  • Reduces errors by knowing what you want to do and pre-filling more accurately than other accounting software.
  • I have lost a client due to Manufacturing process not being offered at that time.
The ease of use is the best function of Xero! I can't believe how easy it is. The guesswork and errors QuickBooks Online causes is ridiculous. Many of us have just learned to live with it, but once you try Xero, it's hard to go back.
The cash coding screen is so great!
I am not part of that decision.
It was like snapping your fingers and everything is there and ready to rock and roll.

I believe start-ups and well-seasoned business owners would benefit from the ease of use with Xero. Xero is a stripped-down UI that makes accounting more intuitive. It is designed to be as easy as possible to use, and I have never been hung up on how to find something on this GL. I think this product would be great for the new, self-managing business owner so as to not scare them and to help them understand how the accounting process works.
