Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Primarily as a post analytical visualization tool. Our team is about 8 people which include about 3 business side of users. Typically we give them the information to then get ready for presentation and make look good for the sales pitch.It was great for the most part until they removed the ACL function

Alternatives Considered

Powerslide, Google Slides and Miro

I feel like it is not as good as powerslides, basically does the same thing but not as well. The team basically found that it was using up more time and wasn't as easy to figure out as Powerslide. We ended up switching programs after a while and still looking for a much better and intuitive program.

Usability

I think it doesn't do anything particularly excellent. There are other programs out there that are very similar and do somethings much better such as powerslides. I find the UI/UX of yellowfin is often pretty tedious and annoying or at least my business coworkers have said. Haven't been interesed in using this in a while and don't plan to return to it.

Support Rating

Doesn't do much super well. Wish the UI / UX was better and the learning curve can be a bit too much for a piece of software that is relatively easy. Information is often disbursed and leaves a lot of guesswork to be put into the charts. wish there was less manual input from excel

Likelihood to Recommend

Having a lot of trouble finding a good reason to use this program. There is a lot of other programs that do what this program does but better. I think the best scenario to use this is if you wanted to find a not so easy way to present big data
