Overall Satisfaction with Zip Intake-to-Procure
Zip is our single entry point for all vendor contract requests. Prior to Zip, the company was using Ironclad as the intake tool which provided the necessary workflow but not the transparency or ease of use. We were able to implement Zip within 3 months and now all intake requests are visible and integrated with most of our tools that are used in the procurement process. We are currently implementing Zip Order and will be rolling out PO by early next year.
- Customizable workflows
- Insights tab for quick and easy view of spend and cycle time
- Existing integrations with tools like Docusign, Ironclad, Slack, and more!
- Missing the ability to proxy as another user. Currently, if one approver did not set up their delegation, an admin or the approver of that step must reassign each of the approvals to another person.
- Bulk upload options for admins to update queues and subqueues.
- Missing ability to schedule reports or the option to share a saved view with another user. It would be easier if certain filtered views can be shared with others to avoid each user having to create their own views.
- Customizable Workflows. We rely heavy on conditions and bringing on the right approvers based on the answers to these conditions.
- Vendor portal. Be able to collect vendor banking, W9, and answer any additional question is extremely important to keep our functional team lean to support all the requests.
- Build in integration with Docusign, Slack, and Ironclad.
- Visibility for all necessary approvers and reviewers of the process.
- Lack of open API to other systems (i.e Mondays, Smartsheet) is causing concerns for team that might want to move away from current tool.
- No 3rd party implementation required is huge cost / time savings.
Zip created the best end-to-end solution vs the other solutions we reviewed. The user interface is easy and simple for first-time users to navigate. The user adoption was quick due to the visible approval chain. The Zip support team is top-notch and compared to the competitors, a customer must pay extra to receive quick solutions and bug fixes.
