Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Books

We used it as our bookkeeping utility presently for a secondary project across the whole company. We needed a tool that fit in well with Zoho CRM and this was it. The price was right and it did everything we needed it to do. It reports well and is easy to use.
  • Simple reporting.
  • Simple to set-up.
  • Importing from other products is not great.
  • Some specific aspects around template creation were missing.
  • Positive in that we have been able to centralize our invoicing and billing to a single system.
  • Positive in that we can open the system up to our whole team.
It does stack up quite well, particularly against QBO, but Xero is a little more flexible with regards to the customisation of reports and integration with other systems. Price-wise, Zoho Books is very attractive and would likely be more popular if it could work well outside its own CRM brand.
Zoho Books is a completely feasible option for anyone either using Zoho CRM as their CRM or for anyone not using a CRM or not requiring connectivity. The price is excellent and out of the box, it is very easy to use. Most bookkeeping functions are available and the general interface is also quite pleasant.
