Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Books

We transitioned from QuickBooks Enterprise to Zoho Books for our full accounting suite. We use for our monthly reporting, SO, PO, AR management.
  • Simple lay out
  • Invoice creation and tracking
  • Mass customization
  • Parent / Child relationship
  • Setting up payment portals for customers & general portal management
  • Integration with rest of Zoho One module is still clunky
  • Reporting features have allowed us to manage our expenses much easier
  • Cash management & book reconciliation has drastically improved
  • We have improved our cash collection through AR management in Zoho Books
Much simpler than QuickBooks Desktop. For our needs, the pricing for Zoho Books when bought through a Zoho One subscription was a much better value. Our outside Audit firm was also able to follow Zoho Books much easier than our previous records.

Do you think Zoho Books delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Zoho Books's feature set?

Yes

Did Zoho Books live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Zoho Books go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Zoho Books again?

Yes

For the price and ease of implementation, Zoho Books has drastically out performed QuickBooks for our enterprise. The customer service team from Zoho is the only thing holding my rating from a 10.
The support team feels very disjointed. We have filtered through a number of "lead" contacts and are frequently spammed by other Zoho members. Once getting an appropriate support contact on the phone - the team is very helpful, it just takes a lot of hoop jumping to get there. We actually unsubscribed from their support package as we were not getting the value we were looking for.
For a company of our size, ~$10M revenue, ~1,500 customers in a B2B scenario, Zoho Books has worked really well. We are able to segregate roles and responsibilities between our accounting & customer service departments. We provide light manufacturing, so our accounting practices are less complex. For companies with heavy manufacturing, the integration with Zoho Inventory may make it challenging to incorporate.
