Overall Satisfaction with Zoho CRM

We used Zoho CRM to manage some of our corporate deals. Zoho CRM facilitated the first serious push into a purpose-built CRM for our company and it did the job very well.
  • Easy to setup and use
  • Automation, we were able to really streamline the data entry process and eliminate the chance of mistakes.
  • Reports, their canned reports made it very easy for management to get a picture of where we were at life.
  • Zoho CRM really wants you to exist wholly inside their ecosystem. The integrations with their other apps are great if you are planning on using them, however, external connectors are a problem.
  • The breakdown of features between the tiers is frustrating. We needed a single feature from a higher tier and it increased our price by a significant margin across our whole company.
  • We saw an immediate decrease in confusion throughout our sales team with the addition of a CRM
  • Zoho CRM was simple enough that the sales team was able to self-manage a good deal of the system.
  • Low barrier of entry allowed for us to make the move into a proper CRM
We actually never had to use Zoho support for the CRM, at least to my knowledge. Their support team for other applications has always been helpful though.

Besides some weird breakdowns on the feature set side between the packages, I'd say this is as usable a CRM as I've ever seen. It's powerful, while still being simple enough for "Computer Challenged" users to work through. The live reporting features were well thought out and allowed our management staff to get an understanding of where we were at any given time, without having to rely on an outside group to author reports.
This is not a replacement for Salesforce or the like, but it is a great step up from an excel sheet or homegrown database. It is a proper CRM for a very palatable price, and it needs little config and tweaking to get up and running. It was easy to train on, and people with existing CRM knowledge were able to pick it up intuitively.
