Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Meeting

We are an Ed-Tech Start-up. We provide courses on various topics like App development, website development (Frontend and Backend), Cloud, graphic designing, UI/UX and many more. We keep live sessions on various apps like Zoom, GoToMeeting, Ms teams, Google Meet, Zoho and many more. It keeps on changing based on our partner/speaker feedback and student feedback. After all client satisfaction is the prime motto. Zoho Meeting is usually used by the speaker/mentor for their sessions. We also sometimes use it for internal meets (after all everything is virtual now). The biggest advantage of such tools is that they come handy when some of your other tools don't work.
  • Can be used for Business meets, internal team meets, mentorship session with students.
  • It has integrated calendar application and RSVP scheduling feature
  • Great tool for presentations and product promotions
  • Free version is not that useful, so need to use paid version only.
  • Customer support isn't available by phone, need to use docs or guides to understand the application
  • Limit on number of people attending session. This is something I face issues with lot of online meet tools.
  • Great tool for online sessions, and has been handy when other tools did not work.
  • Has helped us increase the number of mentorship sessions, speaker sessions.
  • Has also helped us in business meets.
Microsoft Teams specializes in complete Microsoft integrations, HD video conferencing, screen and file sharing, instant messaging, group chat options, live chat options. Zoom specializes in video webinars, meetings, chat options, integration, HD video conferencing. Do you think Zoho Meeting delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Zoho Meeting's feature set?

Yes

Did Zoho Meeting live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Zoho Meeting go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Zoho Meeting again?

Yes

Zoho has some great features, has been very useful for us when other apps were not working well, has easy navigation feature, great follow up emails option. Only problem could be its customer support which I don't feel has lived up to its expectation. Also, when it comes to business related work I still prefer other apps over Zoho, although Zoho is not that bad.
Zoho Meeting has limited customer support, even for paid subscribers. I have heard that Zoho's other products have a better customer support than Zoho meeting. Also, Customer support isn't available by phone. To get your questions answered, you'll have to rely on the user guides and other training materials/docs on the Zoho website. Maybe you can contact them on their email id option.
I feel it has been very useful, like the screen share feature [during presentation] for me has been great. Very easy to navigate and use. Can use it from desktop browser as well, which is a great feature. Also free version is not that useful, so need to use the paid version to get max features (number of participants, recording).

Evaluating Zoho Meeting and Competitors

Yes - I cannot say we completely replaced other tools for Zoho, but we definitely have used Zoho when other products did not work well.
Zoho has been handy for us, especially for business meets, internal team meets, mentorship sessions. I feel all the products we used like Zoom, GoToMeeting, Ms teams, and many more have some or the other disadvantage.
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
Price wise although it is not too expensive but still as a start-up we cannot exceed our budget, and when it comes to usability I feel it is good. Free trier is not of much use, so better to switch to paid trier. Zoho as a brand is very popular especially in India.
Zoho has been a ready to go brand, which simply means use it whenever we face any issue with other products we use Zoho. I feel Zoho has been very useful, although as mentioned before I still use other products over Zoho in most cases. While I was not involved in the selection process of the tool, I would still look into more details of tools before purchasing anything.
