Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Social

Zoho Social frees up a lot of time by allowing us to schedule posts in advance. The analytics give a good overview of how many followers we have, how many people are engaging, and the best days and times for scheduling posts. All of this helps optimize our social media management and earn more followers, reach more potential clients, and provide them all with quality mental health care.
  • Analytics
  • Scheduling
  • SmartQ Slots: Could use some refining to give info on best times for every day of the week, even if it's just reaching 2% of audience.
  • Connection: Setting up connections with platforms and maintaining them.
  • Better engagement with followers
  • More followers and referrals
Buffer is fine for really small businesses and Hootsuite for larger corporations. Zoho Social seems to be in the middle and works well for businesses of all sizes. The packages are more affordable than Hootsuite and give users exactly what they need for their budget. Buffer is also fairly inexpensive but has a number of bugs that Zoho Social seems to have addressed in a more timely manner.

Would you buy Zoho Social again?

Yes

Zoho Social is very user friendly. If the social media manager is unavailable, it's easy enough for someone else to log in and update the schedule, check the numbers, etc. Users can also interact with commenters, as well as delete replies from spammers or trolls. New features allow for customizing posts for each account utilized, which is great for honoring character limits such as those on Twitter and LinkedIn.
Zoho has been quick to respond to issues when they have come up, which is rare. Generally we can get an email or some other response within a few minutes to a few hours, to a day at most for non-urgent issues. Technicians are easy to talk to and very helpful.
Zoho Social is a good fit for most businesses that need to plan and implement their social media strategy anywhere from a few days to a few months in advance. The analytics are right there when you log in so you can make a quick decision about what's working and what isn't. The pricing for basic packages is reasonable for even the smallest businesses, although larger ones may want to consider more premium options.

Using Zoho Social

1 - We have a social media manager/SEO Analyst who handles all social media postings. He plans and schedules all social media campaigns for the practice and ensures they go out at peak times. He also gives reports based on the dashboard analytics, including how many followers we've acquired and how much engagement we've seen in the last 30 days.
  • Gauging campaign engagement
  • Ensuring posts go out at peak times
  • Editing or deleting posts quickly from the app
  • Editing and deleting posts from the app instead of going to each platform
  • Changing scheduled post times quickly to suggested times/dates
  • The new "Customize Network Content" feature
  • Deleting troll or spam comments on posts from app
  • Responding to comments with images or GIFs from the app
  • Banning trolls or abusers from within the app
This app has everything we need to keep followers informed, attract new followers, gauge their engagement, expand our network, and spread information about the business. The developers have kept up with bug repairs and the latest enhancements have made it all the more useful. Best of all, it has saved a lot of time and mental energy, making it worth every penny.

Evaluating Zoho Social and Competitors

Yes - We were using Buffer's free service, which is good but doesn't quite have what we need. Zoho's basic plan is much less expensive and shows us the latest analytics the moment we log in. This is excellent for gauging where we need to pay the most attention, and how best to proceed with current social media marketing campaigns.

Zoho is a lot less expensive than most other social media management software, especially for the amount of features we get in the basic package. For a small business or healthcare practice on a budget, this software is essential and is well worth every penny, which is why our social media manager recommended it.
We would go with Zoho straight away instead of playing around with Buffer and Hootsuite. Both are useful tools and have other merits worth noting. However, they are either much more complicated or their scheduling and editing tools just don't stack up to Zoho's. So, it's worth just going right to Zoho and getting everything started.
