Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo SalesOS

We use ZoomInfo SalesOS to help support our sales, marketing, and support efforts. For sales, we can use it to quickly verify prospect details or find related contacts at a specific company we're targeting. For marketing, we can use it to fill gaps in our marketing database. It's super helpful when you've got lots of internal data but it needs to be cleaned or verified. For support, we can use it if we've lost touch with a client and need to figure out who best to connect with.
  • Data Validation
  • Target Market Research
  • Insights on who is visiting our website
  • Finding companies who are similar our existing clients
  • The export function has tripped me up a few times - I have exported a list only to open it and realize it's not the one I thought I had exported.
  • The interface is better than it used to be but can still be kind of clunky to get what you want quickly.
  • Data integrity matters and there are some instances where the info is not correct
  • There have actually been two times when I hoped to use ZoomInfo to build lists for target markets but they were not an option. One is a big national industry and the other is more niche.

  • We've been able to multiply our outbound marketing efforts
  • Validate and update the data that we have in house already
  • Target new markets
I think it depends on what you're looking to do with it. If you have a small team, it can be super helpful to multiply your outbound efforts. On the other hand, if you have a small team, you may not have the budget or time needed to adequately get your investment back. It is nice to have a dashboard that shows your user's usage, so you can keep an eye on it and ask your team why they aren't using it (if they aren't). I would also recommend having someone in-house who can manage the connection to your CRM. Having that up and running smoothly goes a long way towards ease of use.
