About the TrustRadius Top Rated Awards

Established in 2013, TrustRadius has become the most trusted site for B2B software reviews. Each month, about 400,000 B2B technology buyers use over 168,000 verified reviews and ratings on TrustRadius.com to make informed purchasing decisions.

Since they launched in 2016, the TrustRadius Top Rated Awards have become the industry standard for unbiased recognition of the best B2B technology products. Based entirely on customer feedback, they have never been influenced by analyst opinion and status as a TrustRadius customer.

The TrustRadius Top Rated awards are based entirely on customer feedback via reviews, and have never been influenced by analyst opinion or status as a TrustRadius customer.

TrustRadius issues Top Rated badges to products in the top tier of their categories. To earn the award in a category, your product must have had at least 10 recent reviews, be present on the TrustMap and earned at least 1.5% of the traffic for that category, and have had a trScore of at least 7.5. Vendors can use the Top Rated badge on their own sites, in a press release, on a blog, in email, or on social media. The award allows vendors to share social proof with their prospects based on the authentic voice of real users.

Blog Posts & Press Releases

This year we are providing extra help to those who may not have the PR resources or even find themselves crunched for time. If you would like us to provide a Press Release and/or Blog template, please fill out this press release request form for our team.

If you do plan on writing up your own announcements we ask that you follow the below guidelines. We’ll gladly provide a custom quote from our VP of Research for your release or blog. Please request a quote via this quote request form so we can get it to you in a timely fashion. We will not be asking to approve releases and announcements this year but will be heavily policing them and are prepared to provide cease and desist requests when seeing fit. To avoid these violations please use the guidelines below:

  • I agree to not mention third parties (our competitors, other review services or analyst firms, or others) without written permission from TrustRadius.
  • I agree not to use verbiage that states “Product is theTop Rated”
  • I agree to not mention my own competitors in my own announcements.
  • I agree to not release that I am a Top Rated Award Winner until after the public announcement has been made on the TrustRadius website.

Ideas that go beyond the blog post and/or press release:

  • Email Signatures
  • Marketing Slides
  • Social Graphics
  • Blog Headers
  • Advertising

Use of the TrustMap™

The TrustMap™ is a visual depiction of products in the Small Business, Mid-Size Company and Enterprise segments. Each TrustMap™ — a TrustRadius trademark — is based on likelihood to recommend ratings from end-user as well as evaluation frequency by buyers. At TrustRadius, we pride ourselves on transparency and remaining unbiased. We do not endorse any vendor, product, or service depicted in our TrustMaps and do not advise software users to select only those vendors with the highest ratings.

Marketing collateral that includes the original TrustMap™ on your site or in any other marketing communication (blog post, emails, etc.), you will need to license it from TrustRadius. Please contact vendors@trustradius.com for requests.

The following disclaimer should also be included in any press release and/or blog post referencing your Top Rated ranking in the TrustMap™:

“The TrustMap™ is a visual depiction of the best software products as rated by users on TrustRadius within each market segment. TrustRadius does not endorse any vendor, product, or service depicted in its TrustMaps and does not advise software users to select only those vendors with the highest ratings.”

Customized versions of the TrustMap™ in your communication materials are not allowed. The TrustMap™ (when licensed) must also be displayed exactly like the original, with no edits or changes, including title and the TrustRadius logo (see Marketing Automation example below):
