To recognize top players in the emerging Customer Marketing and Advocacy (CMA) industry, TrustRadius and SlapFive hosted the inaugural CustomerX Impact Award ceremony, in-person in Boston, MA on Sept. 20, 2022. This long-awaited awards program elevated professionals in Customer Marketing and Advocacy (CMA) who are going above and beyond to build genuine relationships with their customers, creating innovative campaigns, and driving actionable results for their organizations.
TrustRadius, the most trusted research and review platform, and SlapFive, a customer marketing software platform, created this awards program to recognize top players in an important emerging industry. The CustomerX Impact Awards is the first program of its kind, and its creation signifies a growing worldwide interest in creating B2B customer marketing and advocacy initiatives. The ceremony highlightsCMA superstars that measurably demonstrated an ability to mobilize customers and use their brand advocacy to boost significant, organizational growth.
Nominations were open to the public between June 1 and August 3, 2022. The distinguished panel of judges included long-time CMA advocates and professionals, including Megan Burns, Founder and Principal, Experience Enterprises; Ryan Henley, Chief Customer Officer, Bandwidth Inc.; Bill Lee, Founder, Center for Customer Engagement; and David Meerman Scott, Speaker and Author of The New Rules of Marketing and PR and Fanocracy.
The seven award categories were created to highlight distinct customer engagement strategies. They emphasize creativity and out-of-the-box thinking that go beyond traditional CMA channels such as case studies, reference calls, and testimonials.
